As most of you know, my father is the reason behind the words I write and my love for him will never fade. * * * * I often think about you As I go about my day My memories are hidden treasures Deep inside is where they lay I remember with much fondness How you were so sincere and kind Those images are everlasting Forever stored here in my mind You had a passion for photography Through the lens so much you'd see That same passion you instilled And it is now a part of me I learned much from your experience As you surrounded me with love So many times I wonder If you view me from above Through the power of my pen I tell my friends how close we were I write so proudly about you As fond memories begin to stir 'tho my life has changed direction Your face remains so very clear And on the days I lose my way How I wish that you were here I am in motion |

For me, it was my grandfather. ~sigh~ I still miss him very much though it has been 27 years since he passed on...tenderly touching poem Sue! ((hugs)) |
