Before I lay my head down this night
to dream of love in passions light
to you my love I send a kiss
across the moon, upon the wind
to reach your lips and touch them sweet
with fire my darling, feel the heat.
As I close my eyes to dream of you
I send my love, warm wet as dew
to wash over you like love's sweet rain
until we are together again.
