In the space of a second
My world turned into your eyes
Mesmerizing mine
Quickly I said, “Hi, how are you doing”
Without an answer
I retreated back into my shell

Since then my eyes have searched the heavens
To find you before my lonely eyes
In ever increasing side movements
My mind played the tricks that needed you
Sometimes seeing a hidden smile shine through

Last night my dreams devoured you totally
Today you seem to shine in a new brilliance
Dancing on a cloud of my needs
In one glance you caught me off guard
Looking right into my heart

It has been days now
My dreams now leave me tired
Turning and tossing all night long
Awaking with you gaining my strength
And in desperation I reach out
To find a voice of an angel calming me
In the comfort like I knew her forever

In a brave moment I asked her out to dinner
She blew me away with
“I thought you would never ask”
In a smile that sent me flying
“I have been saving this for you”
It was a piece of paper
With a phone number on it

After picking her up and giving her roses
We had a meal of pure desires
Intoxicating us for more
In a whisper that sent goose bumps she said
“I want you to do what you have been dreaming of “
Gasping in wonder she replied
“Women always know!”

Wrapped up in between two dreams
The wildest night of fireworks
Exploded before me
Leaving me cuddled next to you
Holding you so tender

In a whisper in my dreams
I could have sworn I heard you say
“What took you so long
For our eyes met long ago
As I cast my spell into you
Needing you so”
