somebody's dungeon

When the wind journeys
blows through the trees
makes them sway with life
and rustles the leaves,
You don't hear the whispers?

When the waves rush in
and swallow the shore
splash against the rocks
then rush out for more,
You don't hear the whispers?

When you sit upon the mountain
wild flowers everywhere
the Eagle overhead
soaring through the air,
You don't hear the whispers?

Or when you're just sitting
in the attic of your house
going through an old scrapbook
quiet as a mouse,
You don't hear the whispers?

All the world whispers
if you want to hear
just sit in silence
as it whispers in your ear.

Everything has a voice
to the ear that is trained
to listen to the snowflakes
to commune with the rain.

You have to let go
and think beyond logic
let your mind escape
then listen for the magic.

Another way of saying this is....

Stop and smell the roses....

something we all need to do from time to
time....and you have said it so well..

Excellent advice! Too bad more don't heed it...
