July has already passed in time
Days flow like a stormy wind
The sky is showing a different light
And the land is changing colors
Very slow the brown shines through
Autumn is awaiting it's turn

The leaves, they fall, each in their turn
They'll disappear in time
Changed into skeletons one gazes through
Swept in the air by a playful wind
Yellow-brown pattern in colors
Spreading in late sunset's light

Then one morning on dawn's light
the season again takes a turn
The palett holds grey-brown-white colors
You've guessed it right, it's Winter time
Cold it is, with hail and storming wind
And mists, that won't let you through

Trees are bold, one can see through
And days are short of light
Cheeks color red by the icy wind
Blowing in your face, when on corners you turn
The white frozen branches will melt in time
And only the sky is showing warm colors

But slowly there will be again change of colors
And you'll see green leaves come through
It just is a matter of nature's time
When she makes the days lengthen in light
Then it will be Spring's turn
To smoothen down the stormy wind

It blows the land clean, this fickle wind
And nature shows fresh new colors
It lasts as long till Summer takes her turn
With Winter cold we're through
The sun shines warm in a bright light
A year has passed in a four seasoned time

Let that stormy wind pass through
Enjoy the colors in that different light
Each season will take it's turn, in time

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Ok Titia, you've made me actually want to sit down and write one...this is beautiful, and it may be the next go around before I dig up the nerve to match you, and Bridget Shenachie...as she did a marvelous one, as well...

perhaps the next time around...

Sunshine, sit down and write a sestina girl, it looks more difficult than it really is, believe me.

Neeraja, come play on the playgrounds of class, it's a fun place to be.

ThisDiamond, thank you and Autumn is my favorite too

Marge dear, you caught me right there Just realized that I had flunked July class and I wrote this sestina in about two hours this afternoon.
I tried to do a paradelle, but that was too difficult at the moment.
Sometimes, under pressure, my muse just dictates me

Love you all, Titia

Tita darling heart this is exquisite writing stunningly well written the way it flows from beginning to end in such lyrical beauty. That you write exceedingly well everyone acknowledges, when you write and you incorporate the such a light shimmer you positively shine with wonder.

This is so very special it will be a whole decade of seasons before I would try to do this and if I did it still wouldn’t be as wonderful as this is I love it utterly utterly utterly. Never do you cease to amaze me with the wonderful skill in which you weave delight

I can’t wait till September it is coming around so fast but not fast enough

(smiles) Yay!!! Oh my gosh, I love this, sweet friend, this is sooooooo beautiful as you spread the whispers of all the seasons beautifully in this wonderful poem! (kiss on cheek) Two hours, wow, I would need much longer to write one of those difficult poems I bet, yay, I LOVE IT, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Titia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
