I wonder if they know what its like for one who has lived in in a world that has all to often been unkind, and a past that at times has been seemingly brutal in the punishement that has been bestowed to know that they care...... Through it all feeling like a lost child but refusing not to care and give in but to fight that battle, the one that feels as if each day might be like the one of yesterday that hurt so badly that even dreaming of tomorrow could not erase that feeling of fear....... and they help the heart be calm.... I wonder if they know how they have touched a heart that has never wanted anything more than to just share.... and if they don't know I whisper "please here me now... when I say, thank you...."   (big hugggssssss) Oh Donna, this touched my heart so so much, I love it, it reminds me so much of yself and how before I was abused and hurt deeply but now I have grown with understanding compassion and want to spread my love to children in need of it so much! (sigh) This is soooooo heartfelt, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!  May love and light always shine upon you! Sometimes, gentle one, they hear it come upon the wind, or believe it's from a dream, or see it in the cookie served, or in a sundae with ice cream... sometimes it's in a voice, or sometimes, it's that lighter touch... never mind how they heard, just that someone saw they needed much the tone or look or smile so bright, it carries them forward, into the night... ~*~ Oops...sorry  you inspired me! |

The way you use the italics and the bolding in your verse adds much to the piece. Sort of brings the thoughts to a personal level to the point where we can hear you whisper. I also like the fact the it is the whispering you chose to bold...makes it hard to miss. Very nice to see you spreading thoughts to poetic verse and somehow I think when you whisper....you are heard. Much enjoyed. |

Thank you all so very much for the kindness of your heart. I learned of life a hard way at a very young age. I was blessed to have a father who was stern, but at the same time very loving. I wanted to be sure to clear up any confusion that the pains I speak of are not of child abuse...nooo....but of other things that occurred over a life time and still haunt today. Writing has helped heal these wounds although there are some things that could never be posted, and the loving circle of friends at Passions has done more for me than many can ever know.
