Dazed in Gaze Mesmerized by chance of first glance turned gaze in solice of realization to moments written ... times not yet marked in the chronicles of breath ... times to where our footprints await the weight of our hearts. Locked in mysteries of explore ~ two become one to share one as two hidden in the blanket of midnight's kiss illuminated in the essence offered in silence of comprehend. Were we capable of turning sight to wind ... these pages would not hold our ink of tomorrow. As departure caresses the dawn of stretched release ... freedom is shared within wings of four rested in the souls of two becoming one to share one as two in open view upon the lash of heaven's smiling eye. One gaze ~ turned promise through one wink of mesmerized thought as two become one to share one as two in a single moment ... lost ... to our chronicles not yet written. Ah Mark...we don't often see free verse from you, and Sir, on you, it looks good. Hope to see some more from you like this...again, soon! I've had a moment or two to ponder lately...nice to see you've been pondering too! |

Ah Mark it is good to see so many sharing their ponderings in words, and you doing free verse is such a treat for us. I'm just wondering if I ask really nice if there is any chance we might see more?? Please.... I really enjoyed this Mark, it gets tucked into my box of jewels. Thank you. A great romance is perhaps like that, Mark. A Deer in the headlights, then wooing the automobile to stay the night. Love's conquest is more conquering self's apprehension than getting another to submit to us. Put together like a pro, Mark. Seemingly seamless Wonderfully without flaw. jeff [This message has been edited by ShadowRider (08-03-2002 10:30 PM).] |

Mark, You are a natural. Common symbols are hard to find and to use them in correct sequence is pure talent. One gaze ~ turned promise through one wink of mesmerized thought as two become one to share one as two in a single moment ... lost ... to our chronicles not yet written. |

Through the blustery wind, I walk with your cadence. In the center of the disorder, The rhyming peace fills me. Beyond the intimidating crash of the sea, You acknowledge me with absolute certainty. My all has relied on that first glance; The chance to see through native eyes, getting the view by closing my eyes, illuminates the clouded mountaintops and brings soul to the overcast sky. Today’s exploration will take us Where the night caresses the day into silence. Tomorrow’s traces will keep track of What we see atop the morning mist. (ya had to go and make me think, didn't ya?) k I want to wake up to the sound of waves |

in solice of realization to moments written ... times not yet marked in the chronicles of breath ... times to where our footprints await the weight of our hearts. ============================== hidden in the blanket of midnight's kiss illuminated in the essence offered in silence of comprehend. Were we capable of turning sight to wind ... these pages would not hold our ink of tomorrow. As departure caresses the dawn of stretched release ... freedom is shared within wings of four rested in the souls of two becoming one to share one as two in open view .......(sneaking in rhyme) upon the lash of heaven's smiling eye. ============================= Is this when I can *sigh* and not be called a biased moth? So many poetically lovely phrases in this Mark...such ethereal, soft spoken imagery and emotions. You wrote it in such a way that the reader feels the quiet realizations found in the unspoken moments and the connection felt in the eye contact. What I found most appealing about this one was it subtleties ... in its express of emotion, its images, personifications and verbiage...also the analogy that the emotions cant be contained or put into words...the theme of poetry being incorporated added to its appeal. But the real jewels of this verse is its phrasing... in the chronicles of breath times to where our footprints await the weight of our hearts. of midnight's kiss illuminated in the essence offered in silence Were we capable of turning sight to wind these pages would not hold our ink of tomorrow. As departure caresses the dawn upon the lash of heaven's smiling eye Pure poetry in motion my Romantic EMOTIONAL poet cowboypal ... ya cant deny it..your poetry proves it. DEAL WITH IT times to where our footprints await the weight of our hearts. Were we capable of turning sight to wind OH YEAH... BIG OLE FRIGGEN MOTH SIGHS FOR THOSE LINES. *S* Trust me these pages WILL hold what ever you write...be it rhyme free verse, or prose (HINT HINT) Beautiful "ramble" MC..you should do it more often, it seems to inspire frosty britches to rhyme [This message has been edited by Janet Marie (08-04-2002 01:49 PM).] |

MarkB~ A lovely verse of free ... falling from your pen. Also noticed the linking of some internal rhyme ... divine~ And YOU want classes ???????? Duh ! Got a 'meadow-walk moment' for you ... Now ... take that walk .... but this time take a kite .... let it out slowly ... and watch it dance in the breeze ... that's how I think of free-verse .... dipping, diving ... floating ... taking you anywhere it wants to take you~ Gv ge yuhi~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I'm late...but hopefully your pen doesn't forget the free verse style as it is just as poetic as your rhyme. Were we capable of turning sight to wind ... these pages would not hold our ink of tomorrow. THAT was a common thought this evening and well before I read you..so that verse hits hard.. One gaze ~ turned promise through one wink of mesmerized thought as two become one to share one as two in a single moment ... lost ... to our chronicles not yet written. Okay...I favor this verse because it represents hope to me..not eternity..just hope..that's all a person can ask for. Good to see you write such a piece. Sincerely, Reg |

Magnus-Yes, a symbol of unity without stealing the individuality of each other. Thank you for your kind words sir. Sunshine-I don't usually take a dare but I always sneeze three times. Thanks for the second visit. JM-If you don't lose that "E" word then I am going to have to cut your nectar treats in half. Thanks sweetness for all you are to me and for always giving your heart in soul in your replies as well as in all you do. Marge-Will the beach count as a meadow if I plant the pallete of color in my mind while I string the sky in triangled hope? Thanks for you! Ge gv yuhi nasgi-nasquo OLIAS-Thank you for always being one to praise so sincerely. Duncan-Even the ones read when you hold it up to the mirror? Thank you clock tower man.......it is nice to be appreciated. vandana-I am so glad you enjoyed. Thank you kind one. Greeneyes-Yes they do and they hold so many treasures of yours as well. Thank you for both. Dark Stranger-It is hard to ignore and even harder to free ones self from.(providing...a person would want to). Thank you sir. Much appreciated. regina- Not late. Hope is it exactly as our eternity should never be placed in earth realms. Thank you much and sharing common thoughts ain't all together a bad thing when you consider the logged entries into the journals of approach. Very much appreciate your words and thoughts. |

Oh boy ... you sure do know how to make a gal sigh, Mark ... Exquisite phrasing throughout this entire piece, my friend ... truly an exceptional write. I realized by the end I was smiling at just the sheer beauty of the sentiments and flow. Loved this. Best wishes and hugs, /Kit |
