I've often wondered what of life you've gleaned while on this ball, can the life you lead while absent be called a life at all? While you wore the scars of treason upon your sleeve so bold when asked about the reason your mouth so quickly told, twas her who broke my heart so pure twas her who fell away while inside I would scream, what defense was there to say? You now give only the smallest touch I sometimes feel your heart is blank as for the state we have reached I guess I am to thank and I'll go on into eternity with an apology on my lips but could you please, at least this one touch with more than fingertips? But if living life halfway to full is what I must now endure no end, I will do so while silently opposed to your absence once again.
