Still Good, and Young

Christmas in candlelight
Pyramid pines piercing skylines
like a hundred steeples in Church-Town
A place to hide and shed my sins like snakeskin
Weeds die, recede showing farmer Parkhurst's nude earth
I'm sitting on a map of my future
drinking clear water, baptismal sweat pouring from me
still finding the origin of circles
still puzzled why it is taking so long to grow old
It lags, disallowing me to trace clouds in flight
It has brought me to my need
the Countryside
where I'm still good ... and young

(smiles) Oh my gosh, you portray the essence of youth wonderfully in your lovely words, sweet friend, I too imagined that sweet little boy praying to Jesus on his knees on Sundays and every night and hopping in the fields, sweet friend, this is beautiful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jeff, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Jeff darling heart what this was doing so far down the page with only one reply baffles me, still I’ll take it that it fell quickly because of the time it was posted not because it lacks quality, since you know and I know it does not.

Exceptional writing, and I love the image, again you’ve written something incredibly special. I love it as I love all your writing. Send my love to Dulci and to Batman, tell him that he needs to get you to write for him since he can’t manage the keyboard with his paws. But I know he talks so he must have poetry in him

Something alone the lines of

Sleepy I am for most of the day
But when it’s night I like to play
At rise of moon hear me sing
Praises to that beautiful thing
When you want to sleep I’m about
Don’t worry if you hear me shout
I’m just joshing with my mates
We’re discussing our feline dates
But when its morn I’ll go to sleep
Now to work Jeff you’ve me to keep

Marsha for Batman

But you could definitely do it better. I really do love this it is an excellent poem darling man

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Noah, you always have the right attitude.  Its admirable, and contagious!
Pass those good germs this way, ANYTIME, old buddy!

Helen, Thank you!  I was fascinated by the duality of the picture, too.
On one hand it seemed slightly scary, and comforting at the same time.
Weird, huh?

Awwwww Maaaasha,.....sheesh....i am out of anti-blushing creme,
and have no defense against your praise this morning!  hehehe
Love that Batman poem!  How well you know my fur-faced friend.
He was loving my feet to death this morning....until i figured out
he wanted his special canned food.....what a Hambone he is!
I WILL write something about him.....great idea!
Thank you so much for the Kitty Poem!  That was ultra thoughtful of you
and funny than all get out!
Give the Gals a hug from Dulcy and I and Batman for us!
jeff
