Swirling lights before the eyes Mists and fog blur out reality Pieces of a puzzle come together All pointed and jagged edges The wrong pieces, not fitting Just glimpses of what's to be No understanding accompanies A mystery within the mind It whispers secrets of nonsense It plays peek-a-boo and then... It is gone, like so much smoke Leaving one in wonder and confusion The Visions they come and go Telling us we are.. Better off without them. Love, |

Bonnie, can't say I don't agree with you. Sometimes we would be better off if we just were clueless...Huh? |

Well, the saying "ignorance is bliss" can often be true. ;o) Love, |

And there really are some things about life, that I would rather not know... I think we all have things we really don't want to know about or wish we had never learned. Great poem, Bonnie. ~ hugs of unknowing Lyra |
