After awhile, you just give up There is no hope that you can see The drinking gets worse each day And you realize, there is no we He starts drinking in the morning Drinking clear into the night The things he decides to do I do not think is so bright He said he would never hurt me But this just wasn't true Physically, he hasn't done in awhile But the words they hurt too He knows that I am not one Who will just coward down I will defend myself from him I will not be pushed around By Sue 8-2-02 |

Good for you Sue, don't let him drag you down to his level. Oh I just wish I could hug you for a moment, I know what you're going through, it's like living hell.  (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, I agree, don't let yourself feel so low and have the courage to run away from him if he is being this abusive; you don't deserve any of his torment, you deserve respect.
