Love is a rose
It grows and it blooms
It is very beautiful

Love is like a rose in so many ways
It is hard to list them all
Is all I have to say

I like what it says in a Linda Ronstadt song,
"Love is a rose
But you better not pick it.
It grows better when it's on the vine.
Hand full of thorns and you know you missed it.
Your love is gone when you say the word mine."

Cold hands means a warm heart
