I know this guy named Balladeer,
He read the paper every day.
What was strange and very queer,
The "obits" made his day.

He'd write down the obituaries,
Everyday he did the same
Then take out the phone book
And cross out all those names.

Early this one morning, while reading the obits,
He ran across his own name, causing him much fright,
So he thought he'd make some phone calls,
To get this mis-print right.

His boss was who he called first,
To say it wasn't true,
But he'd already read the news
And called the florist too.

His boss got on the phone,
His reply just left 'Deer numb,
He said, "Tell me something Balladeer,
Which place you calling from?"

Can we place bets? LOL It would be tough, though... his devilish grin (and attacks on sweet innocent Toe *G*) contrasts with his big heart and confuses the destination? LOL

I enjoyed this, sweets... maybe he can put down the paper long enough to come out and play. *G*

We'll bump this up just to show
Where Balladeer can find his Toe
sitting here, where revenge is sweet
and wait to see his reply, tout suite.

Balladeer is hibernating
Sitting there congitating
Just how he will get revenge
on that ToeRag rascal thing

You can bet
that when he's done
ToeRag will be
on the run

Hurry up 'Deer'
the bets are down
You'll send Toe scampering
for Tampa town !

Where we will all get to see
a showdown of true poetry
Then there'll be much need to cheer
for there will reign ...
our King Balladeer~

See you in the mortuary
where the sheets are drawn ...
OH MY GOD ... the corpse is moving
One ToeRag ... long gone~

(giggles in delight) Oh my, looks like that job ain't big enough for the two of them! LOL! Poor Balladeer, now look at what you made him feel! This is delightful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Toerag, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Toe darling boy, quick duck, wonderful writing but ‘Deer will surely get you for this. Still it’s a fabulous way to get him to play and it certainly will work, you know ‘Deer never will take this lying down.

And we all know where ‘Deer will go to, you on the other hand will be in the other place with the sinners like me. Its no use my going to angel central, I wouldn’t know anyone well except for ‘Deer, and even his recommendation wouldn’t get me through the door.

I love this 'tis excellent

Cheers, Toerag!

You've amused the rest of us,
Waiting for Balladeer to surface.
And when he does, prepare to run...
Methinks the battle has just begun.

But are you still operative, Balladeer? LOL

Love the pic, Marge!!!! *G*
