She's very dear to me.

Please take back
Those things you said.
Won't you please try
To make some amends?

Please will you promise
Not to make her cry?
And if you can't promise,
At least say you'll try.

Please will take it out
On me instead?
I'll take the pain for her,
Don't bring sad thoughts to her head.

Please will you do this?
Please, if you can.
I'd do anything for
My very best friend.
