somebody's dungeon

Before the dawn
after midnight
before the hours
of daylight
when the world is silent
so many asleep
this is the time
poets keep
to sit and write
our verse in calm
as one so said
listen to the warm
the quiet, the tranquil
the oh so serene
a time for composing
our thoughts and dreams.

oh yes...from midnight to dawn are the peaceful hours for the muse in us all...the house is quiet, the neighbors are asleep, and the only sound to be heard is the motion of thought in our own heads!  Great one again...I'm becoming a fan of yours!!

Open the door and let your adventure begin!!!

I would say that I agree.....but once you
get to my age....sleep becomes precious
at that hour....  But you are right....
some of our best thoughts are during the
quietness of the night or day....
