standing on a shadow's lace

Textured

he is textured
knotted and curved
rough on
one side
but the smooth
as silk
can not
be denied
red
splashes pastel
to streak grain
in a black
and white dream
unfinished
canvas contained
he is marble
and lace
and every where
he touches
he leaves
the stain of
his trace
