I Told Him

On the edge of tears
Feeling so sick today
From such lack of sleep
What a price to pay

Stomach all in knots
Head hurting real bad
It was the worst night
For nothing am I glad

It seems like a bad dream
Only I never do wake up
When he is drinking
He never seems to get enough

I can't seem to think today
With so much pain in my head
I am sure my eyes
Must be real red

Coming in so late at night
I told him not to do
Because I would lock him out
This is what I did, too

I listened to the threat he made
I don't take threats very well
He ought to know that by now
But, this morning I feel ill

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, this is sooooooo sad, sweet friend, though my heart aches to how he is treating you I am proud of what you did because no one deserves to threaten you and if he can't listen he can't be invited in! (BIG HUGGGSSSSSSS) My heart goes out to you and I pray you can find a whole new relief from this soon, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much!
