like a knight with a rubber sword
then took me under the bubbles
of your special place secrets
and made my armor rusty useless

so I took it off and gave you my skin
and the soft packing material inside
that kept heart parts from making noise
I rattle now when you are away
it must be the empty you leave

or maybe I just have room for more of you
