Waking Dream

Come
Share a vision I dream during the day
With me
there is bread to break -sunrise to wake to
Hold
the dawn in your hand; sunsets in twilight years
Truth as an infant
Pure and magnificent, with a scent like a new home
Feed my soul
with sustenance of caring love
Always
I shall cherish every moment
Forever
I shall keep you safe
Extend
your hand and live
our Waking Dream

The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket
I lean against the wind pretend I am weightless and in this moment I am happy
