My words may not be perfect
But these are my feelings on the page
I reveal so much about my life
Through each and every stage

I may walk you through my garden
A place of inspiration for me
Or you may join me near the ocean
As I stroll beside the sea

Words can trigger strong emotions
As I relay my thoughts to you
Quite often I feel vulnerable
Exposing myself in full view

More than once you've seen my soul
Through these humble words you read
Each time I put my pen to paper
I am planting a brand new seed

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

And my dear sweet friend from Down Under, I just love walking through your garden and strolling on your beaches.

Thank you for always making my day a little brighter and a little more enlightened with your wonderful words and imagination.

I am proud to call you my 'poet friend.'

Love ya, Marti

Oh Sue, you make me wish I could
sit in your garden with you
and share a pot of tea!
Absolutely beautiful dear poetess.

Those who expect perfection from others usually don't have any of their own to offer. *G* We mere mortals thoroughly enjoy your work... and hope your packet of seeds never empties. *S*
