perdition colored sky wearing cannabis chaps and bar closed eyes when the lustrous lights dance on just another ganja gaged L.A. by morning with the haze of the mind (too much smoke one would suppose or hypothecate, did that when they were straight somewhere between 71' and 68') when those streets of years don't matter much, but were just a gap of conspicuous disparity between the gears all the roads were growing like tails on lizards and this dependent sky covered my reasonings with that glow of hemp rope hope like the ember end of this wheat straw canary I whisper wry throat scripts to the hollow eyed physician's lips and his brown bottle nurse that curses cures old iron drags my mind under the stars of hollywood's sidewalk mavens where the under neath of their tin is just dressed up brass to impress the kin that walk the darker side of hell sky mornings ©Dark [This message has been edited by Dark Stranger (07-26-2002 04:12 PM).] |

  BRAVO!!! Oh my gosh, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I tried getting on this site earlier but it wasn't responding and may I be the first to say this is wonderful! grin...I almost typed "ah yes, I remember it well..." then I remembered that I actually don't remember much at all. --ACTUAL CONVERSATION between serenity and her boyfriend, while watching one of those VH1 specials on Jefferson Airplane/Starship. Immediately after seeing the now sober Grace Slick saying she would never sing on stage again? I moaned: "Now I will NEVER get to see her!" The boyfriend answered: "You HAVE seen her. THREE TIMES." silence. pause. "OH." I answered. "Did I have fun?" --now back to yer poem. I remember though, the shock of sunlight when opening those doors that so effectively blocked the sun. I HATED when that happened. I call those stories, my "Vampire Chronicles".  Enjoyed. (at least? that's the rumor! ) |
