The old farm house stands all alone. Missing the family that once called it home. The owners have now passed away. Their children are grown and none wanted to stay. A "FOR SALE" sign is out by the road. Where little Tommy played with Freddy the toad. So many memories still remain in this house. Like Frisky the cat chasing a mouse. Little Christina playing with her teddy bear. Then all grown up and styling her hair. Remembering when Prissy the family dog died. Seeing the tears that fell from the children`s eyes. But they say that time does move on. Maybe just maybe this will be another families home. Juanita |

A truly wonderful poem, Juanita... Time just goes way too fast, but the memories are always there. It almost makes me wonder if the original inhabitants will come back to haunt the house. Maybe you could do a sequel to this poem about that. ~ chipmunky hugs Lyra |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Juanita, I know just how you feel, sweet friend, just bstaring at an abandoned home sometimes makes me feel sentimental wondering how the people live there feel and what they will hold onto! (kiss on cheek) This is emotionally said, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Juanita, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Juanita, I like the way you personalized the house. The old shack I live in has seen my boys grow up and leave. It must wonder why I stick around. Nan(Pilgrim variety) |
