My dad's place has a tin roof and there was something so comforting about falling asleep to the sound of rain's drumming. *S* Now he has a walnut tree close enough to drop its branches and nuts... sounds like we're being bombed! LOL

This was so memory producing of my grandparents home when I was a child. Although they did not have a tin roof, I doubt there was any insulation and to this day I can hear the sound of rain on the roof. I just loved it.

Thank you for bringing to the forefront a wonderful childhood memory.

(smiles) Awwwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, this is beautiful, I too love the pitter-patter of raindrops and hail on the roof and on the patio, the sound is like a symphony of its own! (big hugggssssss) This is a delightful treasure, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

I have never heard rain on a tin roof. But I would bet it would do just that. ~smiling~ A beautiful picture you paint.
