It is best not live in between your in-laws They tend to interfere in your married life A mother-in-law with so much control always calls A mother-in-law who drinks as much as he does Always striking out at you for things you don't do Leaves you feeling as, if you are ganged up on And you have absolutely no one you can turn to With a sister-in-law living on one side of you And the mother-in-law living on the other side While they both have such control over him You have no one with whom you can confide Even if you did feel like you wanted to cry There would not be any one who would care As long as he is always right there with them Because it is him they do not want to spare Sometimes it seems the only way to get out Would be to hope and pray that you would die Cause you know there is no one there for you And it wouldn't change a thing for you to cry You try to make yourself stay real strong Only to be pulled down even more than before After awhile you become so tired from stress That your heart feels like it can't take anymore You refuse to give in and let yourself even cry Because you know there is no one to help you Since there never was anyone there for you before Just hoping he doesn't decide to become violent too 7-25-01 |
