Calling Out To All Nations Freedom is a precious thing taken for granted every day terrorism fought with wars consequences come what may. Children dying in the street amidst the young and old lifeless forms no longer breathe bodies turning blue and cold. Senseless acts of violence spread thoughout the land countries coming together standing hand in hand. It's time to conquer the madness the power needs to be unleashed this call goes out to all nations to say a united prayer for peace. {In rememberance of all they gave....may we never forget..} GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! Chuckling to myself and wondering how I could have missed that.......I was just thinking about 9-11........didn't even realize it was flag day!! *D~ stares at the ground kicking her foot wondering how dumb she can be.....geez.... I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~~(Garth) |

This is a great poem, Donna.... 9/11 or Flagday.....no matter, it was still beautiful... and besides 9/11 and Flagday are really cousins in an oddball sort of way.  ~ hugs for lovely writingLyra |
