Paint me soft memories in love's pastel hue Wet your brush with an angel's sweet tears Stroke your soft love on a blanket of silk And drape it across my cold fears Melt them away to a lake of warm touch Now join me to bathe in it's kiss We can dry off in the warmth of our smiles Then we'll rest on our pillows of bliss A bird never flies so high that it can't hit the ground |
