The love of a child
Is a very precious thing
All the joy they bring

They are so cute when they are born
With those big eyes
That draw you in
And that beautiful little baby smile

When they start to walk and talk
Things start to happen
They start getting in trouble more
But once in awhile they apologize for it

Now when they hit school age
That is when all the questions start
And you try to explian
In the simplest way

Then the teenage years hit
You think that the child hates you
But just remember
it's just a phase
They may not show love
But deep inside they do care

Next comes your children getting married
But just think
You get an extra member of the family
When that happens
Which means more people that love you

Then comes the grandchildren
Even more people that love you
And care about you
As much as your child

So the love of a child
Is a wonderful thing
Much love they bring
Through their whole life

Cold hands means a warm heart

Too true. That's why I always wish for a little sister.

This is so very true.I only have one son and he didn`t stay a baby for long.I now have a 3 year old grandson and he is growing so fast.

Oh Julie, I couldn't agree with you more, and though I'm 18, I know my life is just beginning and my parents may sometimes fear for me and I understand that yet all I'm doing is because I love them and I wnat to make the proud of the love and family I have in the future and the happiness they give me! (kiss on cheek) This is delightful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!
