Remember Those Special Times By: Noah Eaton 7/24/02 Joanna, my love Do you remember those special times When we first fell in love When we shimmered with smiles so divine Joanna, my love Do you still love me as much or more? I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you Missing your sweet poems you write and your amore I remember when we first knew each other I wanted to leave this place because I felt unloved Then on my birthday last year you wrote me a poem That I will never forget how it made me cry happily and loved You said in it you wanted me to enjoy life to the fullest And to celebrate a piece of it with you and it would be a blast When you're around I always celebrate so much with you It seems I share a huge chunk of life with your love that lasts I wanted to know so much more about you We became more than friends very soon You asked me how to write a senryu that November And I still can memorize that whole verse that makes me swoon You said when you saw a flower it reminded you of me And you were a bare tree without me Now I know what love feels like and I know just how you feel Because when you're gone I feel dead just like that tree Joanna, my love Do you remember those special times When we first fell in love When we shimmered with smiles so divine Joanna, my love Do you still love me as much or more? I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you Missing your sweet poems you write and your amore I remember when we wrote an acrostic to each other by our first names I keep that in my wallet so when I'm sad I have your words so true I remember that special sparrow love story you wrote How I'd love to share that honeymoon on Sweethearts Lagoon with you You continued to write those lovely senryus You said in one you were a hopeless romantic and I made your insides flutter Do I still make you feel that special way Because your loving smile continues to always make my heart flitter and murmur And that special New Years when we stayed up most of the night And we talked for hours and you set off fireworks and roman candles in my eyes And that special Valentines Day when we wrote so many duets Showed so many how special our love is even when we dream at night You introduced me to the world of Shakira Every time I hear her songs they remind me of you Do you think of me when you hear her songs Just the way that I do? Joanna, my love Do you remember those special times When we first fell in love When we shimmered with smiles so divine Joanna, my love Do you still love me as much or more? I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you Missing your sweet poems you write and your amore Though you live so far away, I feel your love always grow more It isn't meant to be easy, but you said love can be blind and when its found vision is restored You are everything I want to see, you are everything i want to believe You mean everything to me... I remember all those special times While I'm nervous I am eager to turn the page I just hope that it isn't the end To our loves golden age Now I miss you while you're busy at work Many hours on the job I guess I truly love you madly more than ever Because I cry on my pillow a lot I just can't wait until my next birthday Wondering if you will still love me like the last I miss so much of you on the phone and on the web I just want our special friendship to always last Joanna, my love Do you remember those special times When we first fell in love When we shimmered with smiles so divine Joanna, my love Do you still love me as much or more?
