Everything Aerial ~*Marge Tindal*~ In swoop of early morn they came above the yard on grace of wing Kites in aerobatic tracing tethered not to string~ Aerodynamic dip and dive Circling, circling in graceful ballet No finer performance could be staged than the aerial winging on this day~ Silent break in swoosh of air as we watch in rapture, seeking more Then as if on summoned cue they return in encore~ *Bill and I were treated to an air-ballet by the most beautiful flock of 11 Swallow-Tail Kites* ~AWESOME~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Marge: An inspired write! They must have been a beautiful sight. Struck me as strange, because a couple of weeks ago we had turkey buzzrds soaring over our place. They are ugly on the ground but in flight they really are a wonderful sight. Their wings and feathers are really pretty from down below with the sun shining on them. We have never seen them like that in all the years we've lived here. There were nine of them. Now you have seen kites doing the same thing. Glad you had that experience. Betty Lou Hebert |

SweetSuzieQ~ Thank you dear ... little setbacks from time to time ... but I'm still hanging in here~ Lyra~ Thank you dear lady~ MyCafe~ Thanks ... they are such an awesome sight~ BettyLou~ LOL @ those 'buzzards' ... They are soooooooooooo 'ground-ugly' Glad you got to see them flying~ Cause they ain't purty up close! The Kites continue their daily aerobatics and are just so beautifully graceful~ We live close to the St. Johns River and I think they glide in from over there~ AWESOME~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
