you were thirst quench hymns in water mouth
you sang to me in your girl voice sinless
and taught me the sounds of your kiss words
with the sincerity of lipstick laughter

the watching people behind trees
made window eye sounds wanting to know
if your heart would fit there in my hands
but I hid it under my shirt like treasure

you brought me cold sodas from the bend over
and wrote bad words in the dust on the door
with out your hands you were a preacher
I prayed for the earth to be mirrors

my leather made blessing voice rhymes
when you shared the bare of your thighs
in hurry sit beside to fit inside my sides
when you pinned chosen on my pockets

and told me how many men went to heaven

ah Ds, thats darn good stuff....
it seems to me that line says alot
with just a few words.

Waving and sippin coffee from across the states....
good morning dark one.

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.

Though you entitled this darkwood conversation I saw instead a summer meadow of shadows and girl laughter with boy chuckles following...you lent an innocence to this that I am sure you do not see, but it is there, nonetheless....

donna, thanks babe for the read, you are a sweet set of eyes

sunshine, good morning ms day light.  yes I did see the innocent hon.....the location was darkly wooded in my view...perhaps the old tent revival in the woods setting...as always, thank you for your eyes

in all the unigue imagery and verbiage that is so much a part of your poetry that I have come to admire(the way your poetic mind connects to your pen)...but sometimes its the quiet moments of your heart speaking to your muse that is what I find most impressive.
those above lines prove my point.

How she loves me, I dont understand
If time wont change me, perhaps she can
And I feel her trying when were apart
God dont let me break her heart

Oh my Dark..what more could a gal want than to quench someone's thirst in such a way. You write with such chainlinked words..not one could do without the other. Yes..heartspeak..a treasure.

Sincerely,
Reg
