I hate my computer sometimes Want to throw it in a corner I'm really flipping here When I've done nothing else but sit behind the darn screen Then I say 'What the hell are you doing Don't you have better things to do Look at your drawers, your cupboards They'll get a person all confused Shouldn't you better start cleaning up Before Heaven is calling on you No decent woman should leave behind a mess' Yes...and then I say 'darned' again Because I want to do so much more I want to be creative I want to think up rhymes All I do is reading e-mails and writing letters And all the words that flow in my mind Won't come out Then I could cry you know Because they keep hiding in my head Yes, I hate him, but I love him too It's just all that time he's taking... And time is the one thing I haven't got Being almost 91 translated by Titia Life on the internet begins at...90! [This message has been edited by Muys (07-22-2002 06:47 PM).] |

Well Muys, in case no one has told you computers and poetry are very addictive. LOL! Once you turn your computer on, it is too late. So, I know what you mean. Cause I have a whole lot of things I should be doing. Hey, it will still be there tomorrow. LOL! |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Muys, this is such a wonderfully honest piece, sweet friend, I too regret sometimes being on the computer so much because I have no friends that live close to me and wish now I could have one and go out with him or her! (sigh) This is wonderfully said, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Muys, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! I love your computer too, Muys...and I am so glad that you are as addicted to it as I am. I think people used to keep their houses a lot cleaner before there were computers...because of precisely what you express in your poem. What we really need, is a computer which will clean our house while we are busy at our usual computer...writing and posting poetry. ~ dizzy and busy hugs Lyra |

Hi, muys! I LOVE your computer. It has allowed me to meet an adorable lady from another country I would have probably never known....and for that I am grateful. Give your computer a big knuffel for me!!! |

Only to get the message that you've performed an illegal action. Then that little voice comes on and says, "good-bye" Say what!!! I think it's trying to tell me something. Cute poem Muys!! |

What a cool lady you are! I can relate to the love/hate relationship with the computer. I feel exactly the same way! I really enjoyed your poem and hope you keep writing for many years to come. I look forward to reading more from you. Hugs, Deb |

Dear Muys... I know the feeling!!! My children teached me how to use the computer... they always told me not to be afraid because you can't do anything wrong on a computer... so I started and things didn't work out so I had to ask my son or daughter for help... the first thing they said to me was always: "Mom!!! what did you DO???" so you can do something wrong on the computer afterall!! Muys, For 91, YOU LOOK GREAT! I understand what you mean about the computer consuming so much of our time! But we just can't help it! ~Sheri |
