I move gently with the tides As they are guided by the moon Two lovers walk beside me Under love's spell they swoon My color sometimes varies From deep green to sapphire blue I'll cool you down in Summer As my waves envelop you Many vessels travel upon me As they search for a guiding light The calling of the whales is heard Throughout the dead of night Dolphins swim inside me And the seabirds come to dine I am home to many creatures Beneath the sunlight how I shine And when the day has ended And the sun has set on me I'll rest beneath the moonlight And stay as calm as I can be I am in motion |

Awww Sue this is so magnificent. You have captured the beauty and usefulness of the ocean. How I do love the beach and the ocean. Hugs, Marti "Even if life is full of thorns, I still embrace it for I know that in between those thorns, there is a rose worth all the pain." |
