Lie with me here,
quietly,
and explore landscapes set before you.
Let me climb the ridges of your heart.

Engulf me in your arms,
devour my fears upon your lips
I need the sunlight of your kiss,
my love.

My kiss is yours,
an endless rainbow upon your palate.
The snow of your rainy fragrance
heals my slowing touch.

Catch me as I surrender
hidden treasures of my seasons
into your beautiful hands...
Your fingers place and remove shadows.

From the treeline's hold,
your delectable sweetness fills me,
leaving me trembling
as a new leaf upon love's vine...

I taste the grapes
of your maddening love.
I drink the bitter-sweet
of your passionate tears
A draught of wine for all
we have still yet to share.

There's so much inside I have for you
that mere words cannot compare.
We explore the landscapes
of the moon we share.

Hold on my love,
we're halfway there...

I taste the ache of your eyes again.
We feast upon our moans & our sighs again
A meal made of the taste
of our consent to defeat.

This melting of souls into one
makes us complete

I succumb to the shape of our shade,
in this landscape of our need.

Water our love, my darling,
watch us become like a firmly planted tree...

Let me sit alone
with you among your roots.
I am newly blossomed fruit,
partake of all you see...

Dropped among this landscape of you and me.

She said burn ... together.

Didja guys do more verse for verse than line for line this time? 'Cause it seems more like that.

Awesome read.

As always.

It's more like we wrote a mad jumble of words and somehow we formed it into a poem with form and structure later on. Tiersdin can corroborate that! Heh heh.

Thank you, Anvril... I've read this and it's beginning to get tougher to figure out who's writing what...

Mikey, you rule!

Now that is what I call a love fest...and a picturesque poem filled with beautiful imagery...and yes you are both unbelievably fantasic poets...
