The Return of Joseph From the bowels of the snake I have risen I have examined blood splatters long dried With the wolf and coyote I’ve counseled Over the bones of my brothers I’ve cried The spirits are pleased by my ramblings Justice, it does ride in my sling Father moon hides his face from my vengeance Over the bodies of my enemies will I sing The war cries will shake many mountains Great rocks will tumble and fall Wind will arise with the thunder The eagle will sound it’s great call At victory war drums will fall silent On a buffalo hide will I sleep The great chiefs will stand round in a circle Joyous tears from their eyes will they weep This land will once more be free land All colors will be brothers in peace The rainbow will stay without leaving All hatred between man will then cease |

BRAVO!!! Oh Dillard, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I love it, yes, may the covenant never be broken and peace slowly get to all men and bring peace together! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Dillard, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Thank you for posting, very much enjoyed and now to tuck this into the library of goodies... Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal. |

Hello Dillard. I enjoyed your 'ramblings' too. Very poetic. *s |
