Loving Things In the early hours of the morning even though I knew it was a dream You stood right there before me convincing me to believe I could feel your hand on my shoulder and your lips brush my hair Yes, I knew I was dreaming but, I could swear you were there How I wish I could have told you, like the leaves tell the trees What it meant for you to hold me and whisper loving things But the time it was not kinder and the dream it did not last In the instant my mind wandered the moment had passed How I wish I could have told you like the leaves tell the trees What it meant for you to hold me and whisper loving things, loving things c1998SimplyGold |

This was originally written as a song. I wrote it in the early hours of the morning just as it says. It was just there, with Guitar in hand and me half sleepy. Thanks for your comments. Electra aka/SimplyGold |
