I could try to pen a love song But no words would ever do To tell of the deep devotion And of the love I have for you I feel you with me every day Your image soothes my aching heart As I remember with such fondess All the love you did impart So much love I have for you 'tho you're many miles away I hold on tightly to my memories Inside my heart they're locked away I'll light a candle to our love And keep the fire burning bright Thoughts of you will come to me As the day turns into night * * * * I dedicate this to my father who still remains my guiding light. Thank you all for your lovely comments. When my father died I felt a part of me went with him, 'tho the love I hold dearly for him comforts me, especially on the days I'm feeling down. Take care......Sue I am in motion |
