Young Boys Dreams And Puppy Love As a young boy these dreams started for me Through innocent eyes these dreams I would see To be a doctor a policeman a fireman To slay all the monsters throughout the land As I got older my dreams began to change All my priorities I had to re-arrange My dream now was to be a football or baseball star Or drive a sporty race car Girls had no place in my world Why would anyone want to be friends with a yucky girl The years went by so fast All of my dreams now in the past The girl next door smiled at me today When it came time to talk, I didn’t know what to say Off I ran with my buddies to play That smile stuck in my mind the rest of the day Four years have past since that girl first smiled at me Next week is my birthday, a teenager I will soon be Today I asked the girl next door if she was free Would she like to spend this special day with me She gave me a smile like the one from years before Yes, she said that would be fine, for sure Nervous and blushing I ran out the door Suddenly I realized girls aren’t yucky anymore Paul D. Cute! You're right, girls aren't yucky. (I know because I'm one of them.) Isn't it funny how things work out? ~sky You look inside my wild mind |

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this is sooooo cute, sweet friend, I'm not sure where that whole idea of cooties ever came from, LOL! I guess when we are young we just don't understand much about one another then when we grow we finally learn to appreciate the true beauty! (sigh) I am 18 and finally I've gotten to know one girl who is so very special to me, Joanna, but she lives in Florida and so I yearn so much to meet her, just as no other girls have ever talked to me! (sigh) This is sooooooo cute and beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Girls are yucky at that age because they make you have unconfortable feelings you don't understand yet.I found out that curiosity won out over fear. paladin |

Skyshine, Noah, Paladin, Charisma I'm so glad all of you liked it. Thanks to all. I plan on giving this to my grandson when he turns 9 and again when he turns 13, to see if he remembers it. |
