Requiem For A Child Weep not for me, now that I am gone For you loved me not, when I was here Save your grief for others Do not waste upon my dead body, a single tear Through my few years on earth I gave you all my love All I got in return Were beatings and pain, never love My time has come These days of hurt are now in the past No more days of hurt for me Because of you, I have lived my last I’m where I want to be A place where love is all around This place called Heaven Where hurt will never be found My hurt is over But yours will last awhile I hope someday you realize Your anger caused the death of your child Paul Wilson 6-25-02 |

 (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Paul, this is heartbreaking, sweet friend, while I hope this is fictional to your life, my heart goes out to you and the many who truly are afflicted with this domestic abuse that leads to such tragedies like this! (BIG HUGGGSSSSSS) My heart goes out to all the children hurt by this, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing! Oh Paul, this is so sad. I hope people who beat their children, and anyone else who does bad things to children, pay for thier cruelity severely. Because the children who survive are scarred for life. |

Neeija... Thank You Catalinamoon... Thank You Noah... Thank You Smartchick... Thank You To All... I know this is a touching subject I don't know why I wrote it, but I hear so many sad stories on TV and read about them in the paper I just want to cry each time. This is my tribute to those helpless children. There are so many people in the world that don't have children to love and then there are the ones that do things like this. If this poem could save one child from this terrible ordeal I would be content for the rest of my life.... Paul |
