i love to laugh
and tasted the breeze
and sit beneath
the apple trees
but life just isn't
what it seems
so different
and unreal
i used to wonder
when i was small
what it would be like
to be tall
but now i'm grown
and now i see
this world
was just not meant
for me
a child laughs
and child plays
and yet
doesn't know
of the terror
these days
so please tell me
why the world's
so cruel
and why my life
is just one big duel
i cry i scream
i close my eyes
yet i'm not sure
why i don't die
doesn't it seem
like it's just
a dream?
i want to wake up
in heaven today
as i just sit
and waste my life
away
yet what can i do
that will help at all?
that will stop
the screams
and stop the calls?
until i know
i'll sit and think
just where can i find
that missing link?

life may just take a while but i guess heaven's worth the wait
