so many senseless tragedies - my muse dug this out of me. Please blame me if it helps I am love and give it all I know your hurts I know your pain If you need to hate me do All I ask it that you try To do the loving things I offer The world can be a better place Humans can give so much more To help each other become much much more I can’t believe what comes to pass When you hurt each other, which lasts and lasts It is just so hard to see the pain It is so hard to see the harm So blame me if you need a way To get through all you have to today But please don’t say I have a plan That allows for killing of little children Or harming of any of you To explain away the tragedies that befall That hurts me so as how can love Be so callous to allow such pain in a plan Another thing that isn’t right Is to claim I brought a child home When death surrounds them like a stone How could a loving god require That lives would end before they give All of the love each human has For all the others they may touch So hate me – blame me – say I failed But I cannot bring anyone’s death about And my plan is love not pain or clout I offer chances to you all And I cry with you whenever you fall |

Wise are the words you have rested before us and not only have you taught with these words in their meaning but you teach a method of penning that makes the read so very smooth in it's lessons. Much wisdom presented here and presented in a marvelous way. Much enjoyed. |

Paul "Another thing that isn’t right Is to claim I brought a child home When death surrounds them like a stone How could a loving god require That lives would end before they give All of the love each human has" An interesting and provocative poem...so many thoughts on the subject are hard for me to deal with...but, I certainly agree about love. Thank you for posting this. |

Martie - I am not always so sure how to respond to these thoughts either - these just demanded airing - thanks for your read and for pondering the essence of love - Paul |

(big hugggssssss) Oh Paul, this is so very sad, sweet friend, it saddens me to see rivalries between each other in this world when we all should be following the simple creed of loving one another and making the world a harmonious place! (sad sigh) I join your thoughts and encourage all to hug someone everyday and love one another for who they are, sweet friend, know deep down He will always love us all, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Ah yes Paul...these are the times that try men's souls...and we wonder why God would let things happen, and indeed, he has not, but we have let ourselves down, and it is in the mirror we must look... sometimes we think we have done our best, and what we fail to realize is that we are not done doing our best, and that we have to encourage others never to get discouraged, and help them continue to give their best as well...it is only in that cycle will we see a turnaround of compassion. Those who think "whatever I do isn't going to change the world" are wrong...everything they do IS a ripple on the water...and we've got to start making waves... thanks for the read Paul...I needed this one today.... |

It's difficult to respond to this as there is so much emotion and many lines to ponder. I wish many times there were answers. But then, life and death would not be a mystery. All I know in my heart is that God's ways are not our ways. Thank you for giving me much to think about. Hugs, Marti "Even if life is full of thorns, I still embrace it for I know that in between those thorns, there is a rose worth all the pain." |
