They fly onto your hair And crawl on your hands They stick together Like a band Once a year there is love bug season Where when you go in the country Millions hit your sheild for no reason When I was in 3rd grade I would pivk their wings off Try to keep them as pets But they would die off Love bugs can be cool But if you think about it They can be annoying And a mess too Cold hands means a warm heart |

Smiling here---there is a lot of wisdom in this string of observations--I really liked this part: "When I was in 3rd grade I would pivk their wings off Try to keep them as pets But they would die off" *chuckling* and I wonder WHY I scare men! Enjoyed. |

Cute poem here, I liked the different rhythms in the piece Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Glad to see someone else has love bugs beside myself & the other people of south Louisiana. They sure mess up a wind shield in a hurry. Enjoyed the poem. |

Very cute, Julie... I have never seen a love bug, but I have always lived up north. We used to call the old Volkswagon Beetles, lovebugs. ~ lovebuggy hugs Lyra |

Lovebugs? I've seen them. They have this power to create love, as I saw when they led me to Julie. In a way, they're like Cupid, and they sure hit me hard that day. What is life without poetry and adventure? |

Julie - I'm not sure what a Love Bug is, seems we don't have them in New England. Although, that's what I called my youngest when he was a baby! Hmmm...come to think of it, I still call him that from time to time and he's 22! (smiles) Awwwwwwww, I couldn't help but smile and giggle reading this because I love love bugs so much! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderfully funny, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
