There were no clouds today
Just this tulle canopy
that feels so much
like an auction tent
where my dreams
are sold at random bid

My pen tilts
in retrospect of script
My reverie fades me
into a letter to the mystic

I just need a closing
Perhaps
Love,
The one you muse

If only I could tame your name
in my thoughts
and know it as naturally
as I know my own

These words
that are tumbrelled
in my head
port themselves
fortification

How eccentric
every word becomes
when once
they were eluvium

How eloquent they are
when spilled
from broken vessels
and open-air pavilions
of the soul..

They are exotic then

They are tendrilled frills
and bee ridden blooms
even at noon on Thursday

They are flirting cilia
in pink candy hues
piped on placard fronds

Invitations

While everything
just lays there restless,
waiting,
for someone else’s signature
I ponder my own

as I pour myself
through the window
among mimosa
and beyond

An illumination bright enough to gleam the shaded heart, trusted to be released on favorable winds. Keep the auction's reserve high, and your chin as well. Bonjour!

Transitions ... slow discoveries ... the essence of what rumbles deep inside us that causes the tilt of balance in new perspectives.  Beautiful verse and one I will need to read a few times to completely take in.  Very much enjoyed.

(smiles) Yes, yes, and to tame the heart in such a way is miraculous and such an extraordinary feeling of delight! (kiss on cheek) This flows with such gentleness, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Regina, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Regina

You write from deep, and words flow as if from fresh spring, never touched and pure.  Beautiful!

You wont be surprises Mimosas are my fave tree will you?

Well I dont know which I love most about this..the imagery or the metaphors...perhaps its the poetically perfect mixing of the two here that you've created this enchanting write with, and done so smoothly that is feels like a cool breeze on humid night of longing.
Beautiful poignant write Regina...brings to mind the idea of placing a letter in a bottle and tossing into the ocean.

How she loves me, I dont understand
If time wont change me, perhaps she can
And I feel her trying when were apart
God dont let me break her heart

Regina, once again you impress and leave me speechless, this poem is beyond excellent, it's one to be savoured and learned from.  I admire how you see the world!  It's a keeper~

Take care,
