The dance floor cleared and suddenly A blinding Ray in front of me In bloom above, and wilt below Shoes of white, 'neath missle toe In June, to RUMBA, lightly stepped In squinted face, my manners kept In strapless gown, stiletto heel Giving single life a reel The thoughts flashed fast, and did not last A blinding bolt beside me passed In duck and run, full speed on And closed those blinds, alarms upon The dance card full and not so bad A blinding headache all I had Inside my fortress tucked away Recovering this blinding Ray\ Copyright Kkh 7/18/02 **Such fun! Not sure if I hit the Mark...But ducked the Ray...all fun intended. Have a great day!** |
