When he left he said, "I'll see you later." Later came and went away Sad to say He never came back again A part of me Hopes it was just family Or his friends that kept him away But I would ask him, "How would you feel if I did the same to you?" You would probably think I was a fool Or I was cheating on you Or trying to test your love for me I would also ask, "Would you ever trust me again." You would probably reply, "Heck no." Then I hope he would understand That when he does this It worries me to no end And he doesn't get mad at me for worryin' Cold hands means a warm heart |

I don't get mad because it shows you care. Also, my response wouldn't be "Heck no." I'd probably say "Of course I will." I'm a warrior, and I live for a princess.  What is life without poetry and adventure? |

I once went out with a guy when I was a freshman in college and at the end of the date he said "I'll call you". Well he never did, which didn't upset me terribly because I didn't even like him... but the funny part is that 4 years later, after I was engaged to be married.... He finally called!!!!!! Hows that for timing??????  ~ hugs of time(maybe this will become a poem!) Lyra |
