With a quiet calm I've walked the peninsula from all points of view my perspective changes the horizon receding back in time dragging my feet through the changing tides along the curve of the shoreline bending endlessly for miles wandering through my life along the way across the water glistens shimmering aquamarine sequins adrift in thoughts of yesterday white sails billow deep into the blue merging with my memories diving head first, curling beneath the waves cruising carefree through my youth swimming freestyle to climb aboard my leisure before the breeze picked up and passed me by making a splash ..and out of breath reaching for a hand to pull me up laid out across the deck cutting through the lapping rush of wind closing my eyes beneath the sun sailing through a slow mans land circling around the peninsula spans across today and brings me back again... (a true story~ I grew up near the water and if a boat was sailing close enough I dove in and swam as fast as I could. Love the challenge Serenity, and thanks for triggering my memories) |

smiles...I love the answer, "lady blues" and the triggering of memories? You made the pleasure "all mine." Thank you. |

Now if this isn't reason to answer the call of the deep then nothing is. You did the challenge and yourself proud in this one. Much enjoyed the verse and the insight as well. |
