Feed me sanity
through the crack
in the door-
Turn my tears
to raindrops
~let me pour~

Suffice my fears
with the wisdom
of your words-
Rainbow my pain-
~color my hurt~

Build me a shell
of security-
Bless my insides
with stability
Sensation my love-
(please)
~cradle my intensity~

Strike my flame
with purity swell-
Crawl into my heart,
dwell
dwell
dwell

Dwell within me…

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

This I truly enjoyed...the structure, the cadence and rhyme was very good...not only that, the subject matter was interestsing and handled in a sensical manner.

Wow, Devina, this poem reads almost as if you read my challenge for dark but decided to post it in the wrong place. Oh well, I'm sure it's getting better play here anyway.

And, then again, you could've written this long before my challenge came to be.

Cool poem.

I thought it was Mike's challenge, too.  And though, I'm not a big fan of the rainbow theme, you did it very well.  Enjoyed this alot!
