here I sit again a temper in a tight throat just waiting to burst through and send too many angry words flying sarcasm seems to stick with a person even after its source has long swam across an ocean of ignore and there is only one way to keep the calm and that is to walk away I'm in too many hazes at once and yours didn't aid what was supposed to be my heart healing in the hands of the midnight I usually find solace in so SLEEP dream but don't reach back out for me when anger still washes back up like a bad lunch needing to find its way back out of a body that rejected it. Understand that this isn't hate its a mere momentary uncurable anger that pulls through me with the force of a hurricane wind.. and this wind smashes my small boat against rocks slippery and yet sharply whittled by waves dunking me again and again in salt liquid emotion as if I were some angry sea god's morning doughnut Someone anyone but you right now please rescue me from this withering that crosses my soul every time you don't think before speaking AND STOP BREAKING MY HEART WITH YOUR TONE! and then the mending comes usually in the reluctance my temper leaves with and I bow to forgiveness because I can Its easy when I love you more than I'm angry at you. Its easy when I love you comes even after the storm that strikes all my tender spots. so when I still snap lightly remember that I will soften in time sometimes it will take hours moments or minutes seconds just ~~please~~ stop breaking my heart with your tone its hard to catch my breath after the crash that I forbid myself to make too much noise in. I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement. |

I really enjoyed this writing...... These words are well expressed... "Understand that this isn't hate its a mere momentary uncurable anger that pulls through me with the force of a hurricane wind.. and this wind smashes my small boat against rocks slippery and yet sharply whittled by waves dunking me again and again in salt liquid emotion as if I were some angry sea god's morning doughnut |

Well put! More than self analysis. It rings true for most eveyone, unfortunately! And you've helped us by expressing it so well. Thanks, Joe Lamando |

"a temper in a tight throat" , I really love that line, well done! Maybe all one can do is hope to end up with the right regrets. ~Arthur Miller |

I've always found it amazing how you can reach the heart with a word. . . and how you can find love. . . even among anger. . . powerfully done. . . yes. . . very much so. . . ------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Oh , I have to say this is a rant of the finest order. Hurtful, that ocean of ignore, I know. Hugs Sandra |

I hate raised voices ... it really does hurt more than words. |
