There is something about sounds and smells That takes us back in time... Refreshing memories of things. We thought we'd left behind. Songs will do the self-same thing- And places, this is true... I can never drive through Austin... Without having thoughts of you. As I drive across the river... I can hardly bear to look... It makes me think of plans we made, And walks we never took. The bustle of the people- On a balmy summer night... I am haunted by the memory- You were once her fairest site. You'll haunt her streets forever... I know this to be true- I will never drive through Austin, Without having thoughts of you. |

![]() ![]() ![]() BRAVO!!! Oh John, I know these feelings ever so well, sweet friend, my grandparents live down in Cape Giradeau, Missouri and we always see the places where we used to live and evcerything around seems to bring a seperate memory back to me in images! (big hugggsssssss) This is beautifully touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet John, thank you for sharing! ![]() May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
