To, Not From ©2002 C.G. Ward 'oh desert speak to my heart oh woman of the earth' a step directioned toward tomorrow; I can but chance a time to find Truth, buried in the profundity of joints and bed-covered blissful repetition. would you twist these words, to hear silence speak an emptiness between two halves of a better whole? or would these streets dim madness until the shattering of waves rustled our moon out the sky and into this glazing of a smile… a real smile, not the one tucked back, like the child you used to be - staring through the ceiling into a world that held dreams never wholly seen. 'don't try to find the answer when there ain't no question here' it's all rhetoric these days, since nothing authentic refracts the phantoms of vision, enough to see that time doesn't heal - it only forges a bond to memory. we may have lost our mind in a moment, but the ocean still breathes your name and ache is never truly dismissed with the ebbing of a tide I've never felt caressing my knees. 'today we lived a thousand years all we have is now.' Excerpts from Live |

it's all rhetoric these days, since nothing authentic refracts the phantoms of vision, enough to see that time doesn't heal - it only forges a bond to memory. we may have lost our mind in a moment, but the ocean still breathes your name and ache is never truly dismissed with the ebbing of a tide and then there's high tide, right? I really enjoyed this Christopher ![]() Maree |

Wow! Time doesn't heal. It only forges a bond to memory. Such truthful words with powerful meaning. Splendid write! |

if you'd had it before, it would not mean as much as wishing that you had it now... *Did you get that????* um yah..that's what I meant too... ![]() Must echo all others here Chris... enough to see that time doesn't heal - it only forges a bond to memory. This was the line to smack me in the face...(the nod of agreement came much later) ![]() Take care ~D Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

when neither too nor from is accurate--after hearing and talking -listening and describing,-even the profundity of knees will disappear into the waves of green you will soon find yourself, when you have simply- arrived and laid eyes upon what has been anticipated for all these internet years. Best wishes,- and peace ![]() There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar. |

I'd forgotten to come back to this, C. Sorry about that. Glad Kamla bumped it with her wave. First time i read it much differently than this. Today, I read it in light of having lived yesterday. (Ok, that makes sense to no one but me). And today, though I still read the darkness, I also read light...and everything's good. Though, I often feel your writing is over my head, I always enjoy it.
