I erect solitude in the glass of sunsparked windows. Among the stormclouds, turning back the sky in mountain layers. Finding eyesight prisms in the rainbows on the floor. Painted words in footstep dust, the curve of her dress dragging rain. Someone's on the radio singing blue downtones to love, burning through the static heart of shapes miscut in purple felt. Pressing scented letters close to kiss against unsmiled roads and find a plea without address. To lose regret, the mail again. Unmade bed. Makeup things. Ghosts of her among the room. Her breath, I feel it in my eye when I choose to dream. Left unsaids. A beautiful haunting. A universe of spiraled doubt. To pick those planets' rings to wear and burn my fingers in her flare. Holding tight to warming cup filled with warming things. Her photograph is smiling snow. I listen for her breath in rain. She said burn ... together. |

Michael, if you continue to grow like this as a poet, I will just have to get in that line of folks who say "I knew him when..." |

(smiles) Oh Michael, this is wonderful, sweet friend, this is indeed very hauntingly beautiful, may her snow smile forever bring a smile to your heart and make you feel like you are drinking hot cocoa by the fireplace deep down! (sigh) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! God, baby, you always take my breath away... *kisses* But please know, my love, that I do not approve of you getting all sad again. I hope you were just writing it out. 'Cause however beautiful the words of your sadness turn out to be, it still hurts me to know you're hurting. K? K. I love you. You amaze me. Immer, immer, immer. written in blood before everything went black |

Glad you all enjoyed. And ah'm not sad, jus' writin'. If there is a sadness, it's been a part of me forever -- so I don't even notice it as sadness. Which is kinda funny in a pathetic way. Thanks fr readin'! She said burn ... together. |
